• The First Time Playing Bingo in the US

If you are going out with a group of people to a bingo game, and you have never played before, don’t worry about it. Bingo is a very simple game and anyone, even a child, can learn how in a few minutes. When you arrive at the bingo hall, you buy cards. They sell packages of cards or you can buy cards singly. The cards have numbers and letters on them. The “B” column has numbers one through fifteen; the “I” has numbers sixteen through thirty; the “N” column can have numbers thirty-one through forty-five; the “G” column runs from forty-six through sixty; and the “O” column goes from sixty-one through seventy-five. In the middle of the card is a free space.

The bingo caller draws the numbered bingo ball out of the machine and calls the number. If the number is on your card, then place a bean, chip or some kind of removable marker on it. If you match the announced pattern, you call out “bingo” and win the prize for the casino game after they check the numbers on the card. All of the called numbers light up on a big board so people can check to see if they missed any numbers. A regular bingo is a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. Sometimes the four corners are considered a regular bingo. Other patterns are used in special free casino games and they are announced and usually displayed. If you have any questions, ask the staff or other players.
