In the United States, much of the control regarding the game of bingo online is at the state leve land the state’s do not all have the same opinion over the casino games of bingo. In some state, the game is readily accepted; in others it is completely banned. Arkansas, West Virginia and Louisiana are several of the states where the battle is waging. In all states the biggest Argument against bingo and gambling has to do with the issue of gambling addiction. The fear is also that bingo and lotto are just the beginning that will open the doors for other forms of gambling within the state.

In all places though, the ideal of legalized casino gambling is attractive for the tax and tourist revenues that the activity will generate. This is especially attractive in economically depressed areas of the states. In some states, though, opponents of gambling get a little carried away. In the poorer areas of some of these states in the Bible Belt there have been letters and editorials discussing the possibility of starving children if bingo is legalized.  This is a bit of a radical view expecting mothers to use their money to play bingo instead of using the money to buy food for the children. Not everyone suffers from gambling addiction as some of the opponents of bingo would have the public believe. The vast majority of players plays for fun and entertainment and don’t have addiction problems or starving children.
